About the residency

Inspection Pit’s residency programme is designed to provide artists with the time and space they need to focus on their practice without distractions.

The selected artist is invited to live onsite for up to one month in private accommodation with access to their own studio to work independently. They are given the option to present a body of work in a solo exhibition approximately six months after their residency period concludes.

Accommodation is free of charge, and a bike is provided for riding in the local area. The artist must be prepared to supply their own food and studio materials; and to cover all travel, transportation and day-to-day costs.
